All of us here at Quali-Pro are excited about bringing the first post-patent (generic) Isoxaben pre-emergent herbicide to market. Proven in a decade of use in ornamentals, Isoxaben is also terrific for broadleaf weed control in both warm and cool season turf grass.

Data generated during our development of Isoxaben shows no statistical difference when compared to Gallery^® herbicide. Quali-Pro Isoxaben 75 WG is a 75% water dispersible granule, formulated using the latest technological processes. It’s another “mixing friendly” addition to the constantly expanding portfolio of new generation post-patent products from Quali-Pro.

New product introductions during 2011 will testify to how busy we’ve been at Quali-Pro. Thanks to diligent research and development efforts of the tech team, led by our chief scientist and formulation guru, Allan Las, Quali-Pro has received EPA registration for T/I 2.5G herbicide — the first post-patent combo of Isoxaben and Trifluralin.

The talk at Quali-Pro is all numbers. We’re talkin’ two new powerhouse post emergent broadleaf weed herbicides: 2-D, the first post-patent Pyridine combo and 3-D for Phenoxy-powered post emergent control.

2-D controls a slew of broadleaf weeds with the proven power of Triclopyr and Clopyralid. By mimicking the plant hormone auxin, 2-D eliminates over 35 weeds in established, non-residential cool and warm season turf grasses.

3-D combines three Phenoxy herbicides; 2,4-D, Mecoprop-P and Dicamba for control of a ton of weeds in cool and warm season turf grasses, including lawns. 3-D attacks the growing points of weed roots and shoots.
